Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 2025-03-16

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes permitted and prohibited uses of the VOCSER platform and related services (the "Service") provided by VOCSER. By using the Service, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violation may result in suspension or termination of your account and access to the Service.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the Service for lawful business purposes in connection with field service management, including managing jobs, customers, scheduling, time tracking, invoicing, inventory, voice transcription and classification, and related workflows, in accordance with our Terms of Service and your subscription plan.

3. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right (including intellectual property, privacy, or export laws).
  • Distribute malware, phishing, or engage in unauthorized access to systems or data.
  • Harass, abuse, defame, or threaten others, or promote violence or discrimination.
  • Send unsolicited commercial messages (spam) or use the Service for high-volume automated messaging not related to legitimate field service operations.
  • Resell or sublicense the Service to third parties except as expressly permitted (e.g., use by your organization's users).
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code of the Service except as permitted by law.
  • Circumvent or disable security, access controls, usage limits, or billing.
  • Use the Service in a manner that could harm, overburden, or impair the Service or our infrastructure (e.g., denial-of-service style activity, excessive automated requests).
  • Use voice or other features to process content that you do not have the right to use (e.g., recording others without consent where required by law) or that is illegal or harmful.
  • Store or process sensitive data (e.g., health information subject to HIPAA, payment card data other than via our designated payment provider) in a manner that violates applicable compliance requirements or our policies.

4. Content and Data

You are responsible for the content and data you submit to the Service. You represent that you have the right to use and permit us to process such content and data. We may remove or refuse to process content that we reasonably believe violates this AUP or our Terms, or that is harmful or illegal, without liability to you.

5. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or take other action we deem appropriate. We may report illegal activity to law enforcement. Failure to enforce this AUP in any instance does not waive our right to enforce it in others.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will post the updated AUP on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes may be communicated by email or in-product notice. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
