Delete your data
Last updated: 2026-05-21
This page explains how to request deletion of specific data in Vocser without deleting your account, for Vocser (com.vocser.app) by Vocser, including the Android app on Google Play.
How to request data deletion
Follow these steps for Vocser (com.vocser.app) by Vocser. We use the email address tied to your Vocser sign-in to verify your identity.
- Use your account email. Send tickets from the same email you use to sign in, or sign in before opening a support ticket.
- Delete in the app when you can. You can remove or update many records directly (for example jobs, customers, notes, or photos) where the product provides edit or delete controls.
- Submit your request. Signed in: open Help → Support tickets → New ticket. Use the subject line "Data deletion request" and state whether you want your user profile removed, your entire organization deleted, or (for data-only tickets) which categories or records should be removed.
- If you cannot sign in, email us at hello@vocser.com or through Help → Support tickets after you sign in. Include your name, organization name (if applicable), and what you want deleted.
- Organization managers. Owners and managers can export data first at manager → Data export and review governance notes at manager → Compliance & audit.
- Verification. We may reply to confirm your request or ask for additional information.
- Completion. After verification, we aim to complete deletion within 30 calendar days unless a longer period is required by law. We will confirm when processing is finished.
What you can ask us to delete
You may request deletion of some data without closing your account. Examples include:
- Specific customers, jobs, jobs, or media you name in the request
- Voice events and related speech text for a date range or user
- Profile information such as display name or avatar
- Exported copies are available first via manager → Data export when you are an owner or manager
We may not be able to honor a partial request when:
- Records another colleague still needs for active work, until a manager coordinates removal
- Billing and tax records we must keep for legal and payment compliance
- Security and deletion-request logs needed to demonstrate compliance
What we may keep and retention periods
Some information is kept after deletion to meet legal, security, or payment obligations. The table below summarizes typical handling for Vocser. Details also appear in our Privacy Policy.
| Data type | Deleted with account / org | May be kept / notes |
|---|---|---|
| Billing and payment history | Removed from active service databases when your organization is deleted | Stripe and tax records may be retained as required by law and payment network rules (typically years, per Stripe and applicable law) |
| Deletion and support tickets | Not part of your operational tenant data | Request metadata may be kept in compliance logs to prove we honored your request |
| Security change history | Organization-scoped audit rows are removed with a full company delete | Separate compliance retention may apply (up to about 7 years) for security and legal obligations |
| Voice events (recordings and speech text) | Yes, when included in your deletion scope | Routine automatic purge of voice data older than about 90 days may apply before your request |
| Encrypted backups | Removed from production systems on completion | May persist in backups for up to about 90 days, then roll off per backup retention |
Voice data may also be removed automatically when older than about 90 days, independent of a user request.
